Clay Waller will change his plea in a federal internet threatening case.
According to an order filed in federal court late Tuesday afternoon, Waller will change his plea in connection with internet threat charges.
Waller is accused of threatening his missing wife's sister on the internet site Topix. He originally pleaded not guilty.
Instead of going to trial on the charge Oct. 3, the order shows Waller will change that plea.
Waller's attorney Scott Tilsen filed a motion on September 19 to revoke the detention order keeping Waller behind bars.
A federal judge ruled Waller should be kept in custody until he goes to trial on the federal indictment charging him with writing an internet threat directed against his sister-in-law who has custody of his three small children.
