CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - The Walk to End Alzheimer's event will be Saturday, September 17 at Cape County Park North.
Organizers say they are expecting 500 to 600 walkers. Vendor check-in starts at 7:30 a.m., walk registration starts at 8 a.m., opening ceremony starts at 8:45 a.m. and the walk starts at 9 a.m.
The event will start at pavilion 4 in the park. Organizers say for parking, you can drive into the parking lot to drop off your booth supplies and materials, however, this lot is handicap parking only.
Organizers ask that you park at the Conservation building or pavilion 9 or 10. There will be a shuttle again if you wish to ride, or you can walk. They say they have reserved the entire park this year, so no one will need to park off site.
