Old Town Cape to host Commercial Open House | Business

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - Old Town Cape will host a downtown Commercial Open House on Thursday, September 27.

The tour, sponsored by Realty Executives and Banterra Bank, will run from 4 to 7 p.m. and will showcase seven properties.

Each property will be open to tour and will have someone on hand to answer questions.

The tour was organized as a way to highlight properties available for lease or purchase in the downtown area.

"We want people to know that there are great opportunities in downtown," said Stan Penn, chair of the Old Town Cape Economic Restructuring committee. "It is a way to reach some people who may not otherwise have the chance to see these buildings and talk about their potential. We want people to consider downtown for business and investment."

The properties are located at 1227 Broadway, 1105 Broadway, 635 Broadway, 325 Broadway, 121 Broadway, 36 North Main and 20 North Main.

The property at 20 North Main will serve as the reception area where those touring can get additional information and to talk about opportunities and resources.

On hand will be the Executive Director of Old Town Cape and representatives from the Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce, the City of Cape Girardeau and sponsors. Refreshments will also be available.
