Voting ends Fri. noon for County News Cover Photo Competition | Community Spirit

Voting in our County News Facebook Cover Photo Competiton started Wednesday, March 21 at 3:30 p.m.

All of the viewer submitted photos have been put into a slideshow for each county and viewers can then vote for which photo they want to see as that county's Facebook cover photo. You can vote by going to your county's website, looking at the choices in the slideshow and then commenting on the slideshow with the choice number that you pick.

Everyone can check their county's Facebook page at noon on Friday, March 30 (when the new Facebook Timeline switches over) to see which photo won!

At the moment, we only have 15 Heartland counties represented on our Local News websites, but we look forward to adding more counties in the future. Our current 15 include:

All photos will be subject to approval before being included in the competition. We plan to do this seasonally, so you can look forward to more cover photo competitions for summer, winter and fall.

We will be holding seasonal competitions for viewers' photos to become our "cover photos."
