2nd Annual Safety Safari Oct. 6 | Community Spirit

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - The Discovery Playhouse and Lazy L Safari Park will host the 2nd Annual Safety Safari from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 6.

The event will be held at Lazy L Safari Park at 2763 County Road 618 in Cape Girardeau.

The purpose of this event is to share safety information with families. Guests will meet local safety heroes, participate in hands-on safety demonstrations hosted by safety professionals, carnival games, fire safety crafts and more fun.

Each safety professional will have a booth which families can visit any time between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Admission to the Safety Safari is $5 for ages two years to adult. A portion of the admission will benefit the education programs at Discovery Playhouse.
