Cape Girardeau Library events for Oct. 2
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - The Cape Girardeau Public Library will host the following events on Tuesday, October 2.
Events include:
- StoryTime for ages 3-5 at 10 a.m. Includes stories, music, rhymes, finger plays and a take-home activity. Kids can make new friends and build important pre-reading skills.
- ESL Conversation Club in Schade Study Room at 1 p.m. This is English as a Second Language practice.
- Teen Archery for ages 12-18 at 4 p.m. The Cape library is collaborating with the Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center for an outdoor teen program. Naturalist Angela Pierce will be providing archery instruction. A release form must be filled out by a parent or legal guardian before the program in order for the teen to participate.
- Computer/Internet Usage Series Part 1 in Computer Lab from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This 3-week class is for beginners to teach them how to use computers and the internet. Registration required by Oct. 1
The library is located at 711 North Clark Street. Their hours include:
- Monday-Thursday - 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Friday-Saturday - 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Sunday - 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
