Halloween Hoopla event on Oct. 26 | Community Spirit

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - The Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department and Southeast Missouri Youth Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition will hold the 2nd Annual Halloween Hoopla at the Shawnee Park Center.

This event will take place on Friday, October 26 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. All kids ages 12 and under are invited. There will be a number of enjoyable children’s Halloween activities offered; including, a costume contest, pumpkin decorating, trick-or-treat bag decorating, pumpkin bowling and make-you-own spider cake.

The costume contest will start at 7:30 p.m. Entry into the costume contest is only $1 and prizes will be awarded. All other activities will begin at 6 p.m. Tickets are only fifty cents for each activity. All Halloween Hoopla activity tickets will be purchased at the door on October 26.
