American Red Cross: Make a donation to help fire victims | Community Spirit

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - The American Red Cross is helping families and businesses learn how to protect themselves and others from fires in observance of National Fire Prevention Week.
This year in the Southern Missouri region, the Red Cross says they are responding to, on average, three house fires a day across 40 counties, providing comfort and basic necessities. Nationally, the Red Cross says they responded to about 63,000 house fires across the country and provided assistance to more than 82,000 families.
According to the Red Cross, you can help victims of home fires by making a financial gift to them. Your donation enables you Red Cross to provide shelter, food and counseling and other assistjance to those in need.
Donations can be made by visiting www.redcross.org, calling 1-800-REDCROSS or texting the word REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation. You can also mail you donation to:
