2nd Open House scheduled on proposed electric transmission line
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - Ameren Missouri will hold a second public open house October 16 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
This second open house is to give area residents another opportunity to learn about plans for a 345kV electric transmission line and substation west of Cape Girardeau. Ameren says the new line and substation will enable them to meet the area's energy needs as it continues to grow and expand.
Representatives from Ameren Missouri will be there to answer questions about the proposed project. The open house will be at the Osage Centre, 1625 North Kingshighway.
