SEMO Port Authority Director to speak at Cape West Rotary Club | Community Spirit

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - Southeast Missouri Regional Port Authority Director Dan Overby will speak to the Cape West Rotary Club on Thursday, October 18.

The club says all community members are invited to attend. The program will begin at noon at the Cape Girardeau Elks Lodge.

“The SEMO Port Authority is a crucial player in our local and regional economy,” said Cape West Rotary Club president Tedd Powers. “We are excited to hear Dan Overby’s presentation and to learn about his vision for the Port Authority’s role in the region’s continued growth.” 

Overby has served as the executive director of the SEMO Port Authority since April 1993. He is a native of Sikeston, Mo. and graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 1974.
