'All We Want for Christmas' 2012 Soldier Stocking Drive Nov. 1-24 | Community Spirit

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - The LaCroix Pet Hospital will be hosting "All We Want for Christmas," the 2012 Soldier Stocking Drive for the 1138th Engineer Company the deployed to Afghanistan August 19.

The event will include several local businesses collecting stocking-sized items to fill at least 100 stockings for the soldiers of the 1138th Engineer Company. The goal is to thank them and make their holiday brighter.

The collection dates are Nov. 1 through Nov. 24. Drop-off locations include:

• LaCroix Pet Hospital
• Mississippi Mutts
• Little Caesar's Pizza (Cape and Jackson locations)
• The Elks Lodge
• Pagoda Gardens

Organizers say cash and check donations will also be accepted in person (or by mail) at the LaCroix Pet Hospital location. Donation receipts will be provided (for tax purposes) at the time of the donation, or mailed to address printed on the check. You can make checks payable to LaCroix Pet Hospital and add memo for the 1138th. Mail to:
