CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - The annual Feed the Hungry Bake Sale is a joint effort of Cape Girardeau religious groups, citizens and the Arts Council of Southeast Missouri.
According to the food bank, the bake sale will once again be held at the Annual Christmas Arts and Crafts Extravaganza at the Show-Me-Center on Nov. 17 and 18. This year the bake sale will also be held at the West Park Mall on Nov. 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the Southeast Missouri Food Bank.
Members of all faiths are invited to contribute baked goods to help make the bake sale a success. They and other community members can also support the sale through advertising, organizational help and volunteering time and food.
The bake sale is a mission to help those in need in our region. As an additional goal, the bake sale is an event where people of different faiths can work together to support a worthy cause.
