MoDOT to hold transportation listening session in Cape Girardeau | Community Spirit

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - The Missouri Department of Transportation has initiated a statewide engagement effort called "On the Move" to update Missouri's long-range transportation plan.
MoDOT is looking for direction from Missourians about transportation priorities across the state through a series of listening sessions, a mobile tour and virtual forums over the next several months.
As part of the effort, Kathy Mangels, Southeast Missouri State University Vice President for Finance and Administration, will host a listening session from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 19. The session will be held at the Osage Center, located at 1625 North Kingshighway St. in Cape Girardeau.
Registration will begin at 4:30 p.m., with the program beginning at 5 p.m.
The event is open to the public. Due to limited seating, attendees are asked to reserve a seat by emailing onthemove@modot.mo.gov or visiting www.missourionthemove.org by noon on Monday, Feb. 18.
