Man arrested after police say he pulled knife on bar employee

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - A Cape Girardeau man was arrested for unlawful use of a weapon after police say he pulled a knife on an employee of a bar.

Jacob Lee Brazil, 23, of Cape Girardeau is charged with unlawful use of a weapon, class D felony.

Police say an employee of Hot Shots Bar at 15 N. Main noticed Brazil behind the business around 12:40 a.m. on May 5.

The employee thought Brazil was going to fall down, but when Brazil got to the entrance of the bar, police say he turned around and pulled a long black knife from his pocket and pointed it at him.

The employee described the knife as a butterfly knife.

Police found the knife in Brazil's possession and arrested him.
