Sign ups open for Inaugural Redhawks Run | Events

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - Redhawk fans and supporters can sign up to run in the Inaugural River Eagle Redhawks Run on October 13.

The 5K race is held at Houck Stadium with registration beginning at 1:30 p.m. The race starts at 2:30 p.m. Participants receive a ticket to that night's football game against Tennessee Tech, a Nike Dri-Fit T-shirt and a chance to create a fan tunnel for the Redhawks entry onto the field. Afterwards, there is a finish line tailgate party with free food and beverages.

Early bird entry for the 5K race is $25 and due by Sept. 7. Runners can still sign up for the race after the early registration deadline, but the cost jumps to $30. In addition to the 5K run, there is a one-mile scholarship walk available for $20.
