1st Annual Craft Beer Festival in Cape Girardeau | Events
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - The Community Counseling Center Foundation held their first annual Cape Girardeau Craft Beer Festival on Saturday, October 6.
The festival was at the Cape Girardeau Arena Park/SEMO Fairground 4-H and Bank of America Show Arenas from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
It included events such as:
- Tastes from over 20 microbreweries providing samples of over 70 beers
- A tasting glass
- Home brewing demonstrations
- Live music by a German band led by Pat Schwent
- Food available for purchase
- Hourly drawings for gifts and prizes
All proceeds from the event will go to the Community Counseling Center Foundation to be used for providing improved facilities, equipment and services for persons with mental illness. The Center is a not-for-profit provider of mental health care, serving Cape Girardeau, Bollinger, Madison, Ste. Genevieve and Perry counties.
