4th Annual GAPS Autism Walk held in Cape Girardeau | Events
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - The Fourth Annual GAPS (Giving Autistics’ Parents Support) Autism walk took place Saturday in Cape Girardeau.
It was from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 755 South Kingshighway.
Hundreds of people showed up and had lots of fun activities like bean toss, face painting, soda walk, bounce house, and much more.
A lot of teams were formed, as well as others that came to show their support.
Teams participated in the walk that went into the neighborhood nearby and back.
All proceeds will help fund the GAPS program in 2013. $10,000 was the goal and SEMO Alliance of Disability Independence (SADI) organizers feel they will meet that goal.
