Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration dinner Jan. 23 to feature John Legend | Events

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - The annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Dinner at Southeast Missouri State University will be January 23 at the Show Me Center.

Doors will open at 5 p.m. and the dinner will start at 6 p.m. The speaker-only event will start at 7 p.m.

The university says a limited number of tickets are still available by calling 573-651-2524. Speaker-only tickets are still available and may be bought through Show Me Center Box Office at 573-651-5000 or click here to buy them online. Dinner tickets are $18 each, or a you can buy a table for $130. Speaker-only tickets are $10 each. Students can receive a speaker-only ticket for free by registering at www.semo.edu/mlk.

This year's speaker will be John Legend.
