Tickets on sale for the Heart to Heart Luncheon | Events

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - You can now buy tickets for the fourth annual Heart to Heart Luncheon on April 1.

The luncheon is sponsored by Saint Francis Medical Center and the Heart to Heart Committee and will be at the Drury Lodge. Doors will open at 11 a.m. and the lucheon will feature educational exhibits and free health screenings.

The keynote speaker this year is nationally recognized nutrition and fitness expert Mitzi Dulan, RD, CSSD. She will present "Eight Habits for a Healthy Heart" at 12 p.m.

Dulan has co-authored the book "The All-Pro Diet: Lose Fat, Build Muscle, and Live Like a Champion” with NFL Future Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez and is currently the team nutritionist for the Kansas City Royals.

You can buy tickets at Saint Francis' Fitness Plus. They will be $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

Heart disease is the leading cause of death for women in the United States, causing one in three deaths each year, according to the American Heart Association.
