CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - The Multi-Agency Relief Center announced they have closed in Branson, but Catholic Charities of Southern Missouri will continue to assist individuals affected by the EF2 tornado that impacted portions of Branson, Kimberling City, and surrounding areas.
Those living in Barry, Dallas, Stone, and Taney Counties who still need help are encouraged to call 417-624-3790.
Many individuals were able to find needed assistance at the MARC. By the MARC’s closing, Catholic Charities had provided assistance to about 240 families. However, they say this is just one step in the recovery process, much more work remains to be done. With so many homes and businesses damaged, families are still in need of temporary housing, food, furniture, clothing and personal hygiene products.
