School Board honors Cape art students
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - For the second year in a row a Cape Public Schools student has been awarded “Best in Show” at Southeast Missouri State University’s High School Art Exhibition.
In addition, twelve other Cape Public Schools District students won awards ranging from 1st Place to Honorable mention, and seven other students’ works were selected for exhibition.
“We are extremely proud of our students’ accomplishments,” said Art Department Chairperson Elizabeth Thomas, pictured above, second from left, at the April Cape Public Schools monthly board meeting.
