Two people cited for alleged sex act in exchange for money

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - Two people were arrested in Cape Girardeau on Sunday, June 17 after an alleged sex act in exchange for money.

Paul Brent Henderson, 56, of Thebes, Ill. was arrested and cited for patronizing prostitution.

Amanda Marie Campbell, 29, of Cape Girardeau, Mo. was arrested and cited for prostitution.

According to Darin Hickey with the Cape Girardeau Police Department, officers were on a routine patrol around Shawnee Park off of South West End Street around 5:40 p.m. when they say a car parked at the end of the parking lot in a gravel lot and occupied.

Hickey says the officer approached the couple in the car, Henderson and Campbell, and after a short investigation an alleged sex act had occurred in exchange for money.
