News

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS)- Three suspects have been arrested in connection to a Cape Girardeau home invasion and burglary late last month, according to sheriff John Jordan.

Jacob B. Colyott, 18, of Jackson, Missouri; Aaron M. Denson, 21, of Jackson, Missouri and William A. Artadi, 20, of Jackson, face charges of first-degree burglary and were in jail on $20,000 bond apiece.

Jordan said investigators believe the three broke into the home on June 21 during the early morning hours.  The
victim told police the suspects broke a window, were walking around the house with flashlights, and told him they had a gun when he confronted them.

Jordan said  more charges and further arrests are anticipated.

Another subject was arrested late last week for another first degree burglary on County Road 347.  He's identified as Jeffrey D. Murry, 27, of Burfordville. Murry has posted bond and has been released from custody.
