Jackson woman familiar firsthand with hurricanes | News
JACKSON, MO (KFVS)- A woman who's originally
from south Louisiana is familiar with what is happening on the Gulf Coast.
Lynne Ross says she moved
to Jackson more than a decade ago, and is actually planning on moving back
south as soon as she can sell her house.
She says family members have taken refuge at
her home during other hurricanes like Katrina and Ike.
"I was living in this two bedroom condo
at the time," said Ross. "Everybody migrated to my condo. We probably
had about 13 people in the house. Living
in the house, for I would say over two." weeks.
Ross says she's spoken to
her family and friends and says they're all doing fine, considering.
She says she's ready to
head back home to be with her family.
