CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS)- Cape Girardeau police search for a dog napper.
Police say two pit bulls were stolen from the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri.
Officers say the officers cut a fence to get in.
Both animals had been brought to the shelter by Animal Control as strays.
They are about a year old, and weigh around 60 pounds.
Police aren't sure who's responsible
They say if found, the guilty party will face felony charges for stealing the dogs, plus charges for cutting the fence.
