Redhawks soccer player out for season | News
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS)- Southeast Missouri State University soccer coach Heather Nelson announced Tuesday that Erin Shulman will not play for the remainder of the 2012 season due to a knee injury.
The sophomore forward has not played since September 8 when the Redhawks played against Nebraska, and has only scored one goal in the first seven matches of the season.
Shulman obtained first team All-Ohio Valley Conference Honors last year by tying for the team lead of nine goals.
She also was only the second Redhawks in history to be honored as OVC Freshman of the Year.
