CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS)- Friday two Heartland News reporters helped out the Cape Girardeau Police Department take aim for a good cause.
Live local and right on target, Holly Brantley and Crystal Britt each fired off a round at the police firing range to support the United Way.
We hear both ladies turned out to be a pretty good shot.
Many city employees participated as well.
The event, hosted by the Cape Girardeau Police Department, raises money by selling sections on targets for gift certificates and other prizes. If the bullets land close to your section, you win!
Friday's event, known as the Huntin' Lodge, brought in over $1700 and counting.
