Frosted Mini-Wheats recalled due to possible metal fragments | News

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS)- According to the Cape Girardeau County Public Health Center, there is a voluntary recall of select packages of Kellogg's Frosted Mini-Wheats Bite Size Original and Mini-Wheats Unfrosted Bite Size.

The recall is due to the possible presence of fragments of flexible metal mesh from a faulty manufacturing part.

Distribution was to all major retailers such as Wal-Mart, Schnuck's, Supervalu, Harvester's, Southeast Missouri Food Bank and Food Giant.

Recalled products include only Frosted Mini-Wheats Bite Size Original and Mini-Wheats Unfrosted Bite Size with the letters KB, AP or FK before or after the Best If Used Before date. Products impacted are:
