Rt. W in Cape Girardeau to close for pipe replacement
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - The Missouri Department of Transportation says Route W will be closed while crews replace a pipe under the road.
According to MoDOT, the schedule of closures includes:
- Jan. 14 between Eli Drive and County Road 601 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from County Road 601 to Route Y from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
- Jan. 15 again from County Road 601 to Route Y from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Jan. 16 between Route Y and Kaskaskia Lane from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. and between Morning Star Lane and County Road 616 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
MoDOT says the work zone will be marked with signs. Drivers are urged to use extreme caution while in the area.
