Nashville recording artists hold benefit concert in Cape Girardeau | News

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS)- A group of Nashville recording artists held a benefit concert Saturday night in Cape Girardeau.
Proceeds from the show went to Joe Hoffman who's been fighting liver cancer for the past seven months.
Hoffman is a friend of recording artist Brooke Burrows, who brought the whole show together.
"We've known each other forever, for one, and their just the type of people you can warm up to," said Burrows. "I think anyone who meets them tonight will feel the same way."
"It's just amazing to see how everybody's pulled together to help my family," said Joe's daughter Amanda Hoffman. "I don't know what to say?"
Also performing was Aaron Barker who wrote countless George Strait hits including 'Baby Blue' and 'Easy Come, Easy Go.'
Chris Wallin and his wife Camile also performed.
Chris is known for his songs like 'Don't Blink' performed by Kenny Chesney, and 'Love Me If You Can' by Toby Keith.
Ira Dean who writes for Montgomery Gentry and
has several of hits of his own, also performed.
