Earthquake awareness event held in Cape Girardeau | News
You just never know when a big earthquake could shake the Heartland.
That's why the Bootheel Youth Museum joined several organizations for an earthquake awareness event Saturday in Cape Girardeau.
The American Red Cross sponsored the event at West Park Mall.
Several booths featured different activities and experiments.
All were aimed at educating families about the science of earthquakes and ways to be prepared for the next time a quake rattles our part of the world.
