JACKSON, MO (KFVS) - The 2nd Annual Powder Puff Football Game will be Friday, October 5 at 7 p.m. at the Jackson High School Football Stadium.
The Jackson High Senior Class of 2013 is sponsoring the game, which is a fundraising event. You can come watch the senior, junior and sophomore girls vie for the title of Champion Team.
Proceeds will go to help fund end-of-the-year Senior All Night Party and Senior Breakfast. Concessions will be provided.
The senior class parents are helping the students coordinate the event.
"No better football fans can be found than the Jackson Indians," said Linda Brotherton, parent to a JHS senior. "Making the best of an unscheduled open date of regular Heartland Football Friday, on October 5, the 'Pit' will be abuzz as the Jackson Indians will provide their fans a little different take on the game of football."
Brotherton said you'll see the football players take the field, not as players, but as the coaches of fellow female students in the second annual Powder Puff Foot Ball Game. She said this game of friendly competition will be sure to entertain in their efforts to raise money for the senior class.
