JACKSON, MO (KFVS) - The City of Jackson says work is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. on Thursday, October 31 for the annual Asphalt Street Improvement Program, weather permitting.
The road improvements include repairs along North Union Avenue, Luetje Street, Oak Street, West Mary Street, Wimbledon Drive, Stoneyledge Drive, Tobaggan Hill, North Farmington Road, East Main Street, Greensferry Road and Birk Lane.
The city says work is weather-dependent, but expected to be complete within a month.
Drivers taking East Main Street will be detoured along East Adams Street via South Georgia Street and South Neal Street. Traffic will be detoured along Elm Street and North Russell Street for temporary closures at North Union Street and Parkview Street, and at the low-water bridge on West Mary Street.
