Section of Main Street closing Sept. 10 for overlay project
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - Main Street overlay work in Cape Girardeau will require a road closure beginning Monday, September 10.
Transportation officials say the road will close from Main from Park to Spanish streets as contractors begin the next overlay phase. Work is expected to last 10 days, weather permitting.
Detours will be set up around the area to direct traffic. And, officials say local access will be available through the project for nearby residences and businesses.
