JACKSON, MO (KFVS) - The City of Jackson's annual Concrete Street and Sidewalk Repair Project has been moved back to Tuesday, June 11.
Work will begin on East Main Street and will be performed by Cement Finishing, Inc. out of Perryville, Mo.
Road improvements include over 3,500 square yards of concrete repair along East Main Street, Lexington Drive, Sappington Drive, Old Cape Road, Cathy Drive, Carolyn Drive, Odus Drive, Wedgewood Drive, Palmer Drive, Watson Drive, St. Andrews Drive, St. Andrews Court and Old Hickory Drive.
According to the city, the project completion will depend on the weather but is expected in September 2013. Progress updates will periodically be posted on the city's website.
Roads will be restricted to one-lane traffic between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. while work is being performed. Signs will be posted notifying drivers of work in these areas, and the public is asked to restrict use to local traffic only.
